Black Cab

Performance skills for adults with learning disabilities.

This is our community performance group. Our practice uses the group’s own lives to explore how we can tell stories and make theatre.

Dates: Thursday 25th April – Thursday 4th July 2019 (excluding Thurs 23rd and 30th May)

Spring Back

A project for adults with learning disabilities and autism to develop resilience and strategies to stay well and manage difficult situations.

We work together using drama games, role play and forum theatre to explore ways of coping when life is hard.

Dates: Thursday 18th April – Thursday 4th July 2019 (excluding Thurs 23rd and 30th May)

We also offer Spinning Wheel in your home where we will bring our music and movement to you!

Spinning Wheel

Music and movement for adults with profound and multiple learning disabilities.

This session uses intensive interaction, music and movement within a multi-sensory environment to celebrate all forms of communication and creativity.

Dates: Monday 13th May to Monday 22nd July (excluding Monday 27th May)

Departure Lounge

Relaxed drama for adults with learning disabilities and on the autism spectrum.

This session uses drama and play to build confidence and skills for life as well as understanding basic drama techniques.

Performance Making Diploma

Performance Making Diploma at the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama

This course teaches you professional performance skills. You will work with leading arts professionals. You will create your own performances in different styles. You will explore different ways of making a career as a performer.

The course is for adults over 18 years old who have learning disabilities or autism. This course is for someone who has previous drama experience and wants to train at a higher level.
