Access All Areas runs training days at our beautiful, fully accessible home, Bradbury Studios in Hoxton.

This is a great option for freelancers, Access Champions or departments with budgets that might not stretch to in-house training.

Best practice Front of House skills

Friday 19th October 2018, 10am - 4pm, £100 + VAT per delegate

Aims: To develop best practice customer service skills for engaging with patrons with learning disabilities and / or autism

Target audience: All front-facing staff, including box office, ushers, bar staff, reception

Key points covered in the day:

  • An overview of learning disabilities and autism
  • Effective communication
  • Challenging behaviour
  • Accessible environment, accessible experience
  • An introduction to relaxed performances

Accessible Facilitation

TBC January 2019, 10am - 4pm, £100 + VAT per delegate

Aims: To develop practical skills and understanding of accessible facilitation

Target audience: Workshop leaders, directors, outreach and engagement staff

  • Building accessible workshops
  • Accessible communication
